1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AYE: Ace Your Edge (“AYE”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a brand operated by VYAVI ENTERPRISES (“Company”), collects, uses, stores and shares personal information in connection with its website, enquiries, bookings, psychometric assessments, career guidance and document-editing services.

By using our website or submitting information to AYE, you acknowledge this policy. Where consent is required under applicable law, we will seek it through the relevant process.

2. Categories of information collected

Depending on the service used, AYE may collect the following information.

2.1 Contact and identification information

This may include name, email address, telephone number, age or educational stage, and information reasonably required to manage a customer relationship or booking.

2.2 Educational and career information

This may include academic background, class, subjects, qualifications, interests, career preferences, educational goals and other information submitted for assessment or guidance purposes.

2.3 Assessment-related information

Where relevant, information may include assessment selection, completion status, responses or results made available to AYE, reports and details required to interpret or discuss the assessment.

Some information may be collected directly by a third-party assessment provider and processed under that provider's applicable terms and privacy policy.

2.4 Documents submitted for editing

For document-editing services, customers may submit SOPs, visa SOPs, resumes/CVs, cover letters, LORs, academic records, personal statements, application drafts and related supporting information.

Customers should provide only information reasonably necessary for the requested service and should ensure they are authorised to share any third-party information included in a document.

2.5 Transaction and booking information

This may include programme selections, order references, booking details, payment status, transaction records, refund requests and communications concerning purchased services.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. AYE does not ask customers to provide payment passwords, PINs or one-time passwords.

2.6 Technical information

Depending on the website configuration and tools enabled, technical information may include browser or device information, IP address, cookie identifiers, referral information and website usage data.

The information actually collected depends on the services and technologies active on the website.

3. Purposes of processing

AYE may use personal information to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide customer support.

  • Process purchases and manage bookings.

  • Identify the appropriate assessment or programme selected by the customer.

  • Coordinate assessment access and related reports.

  • Provide career guidance and educational planning services.

  • Review, edit and refine customer-submitted documents.

  • Communicate about service delivery, appointments, revisions and deadlines.

  • Process payments, refunds and complaints.

  • Maintain business and transaction records.

  • Protect website and service security.

  • Improve services where appropriate and permitted by law.

  • Comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

AYE will process personal information for purposes reasonably connected with the service or other purposes disclosed to the customer, subject to applicable law.

4. Children’s personal information

AYE's services may be used by school students, including minors.

Where applicable law requires parental or guardian consent or authorisation, it must be obtained before the relevant personal information is processed. A parent or legal guardian arranging a service for a minor is responsible for providing accurate information and completing the required consent process.

AYE will take reasonable steps appropriate to the service and applicable legal requirements when handling children's personal information.

Parents or guardians who have questions about information submitted for a child may contact AYE using the details provided in this policy.

5. Sharing of information

AYE may share relevant information with third parties where reasonably necessary to provide the service, operate the website or comply with applicable law. These parties may include:

  • Assessment providers involved in administering psychometric assessments or generating reports.

  • Website hosting, booking and communication providers.

  • Payment providers processing transactions.

  • Video-meeting platforms used for consultations.

  • Professional advisers and operational service providers.

  • Authorities or other recipients where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

Information shared will be limited to what is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to applicable law and the arrangements with the relevant provider.

AYE does not sell personal information to advertisers. We do not share customer documents or assessment information with third parties for their independent marketing merely because the customer has purchased an AYE service.

6. Third-party assessment providers

Some psychometric assessments may be administered by an external provider, including EduMilestones. Where a customer is directed to an external platform, that provider may collect information directly and process it according to its own terms and privacy practices.

AYE does not claim ownership of third-party assessment instruments or control every aspect of the provider's data practices. Customers should review any applicable provider notices before completing an assessment.

7. Cookies and website technologies

The website may use essential cookies and, depending on its configuration, analytics or other similar technologies.

The purpose and operation of these technologies depend on the tools actually enabled. Further information is provided in the separate Cookie Policy.

8. Data retention

AYE retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including service delivery, customer support, transaction records, dispute resolution and compliance with applicable law.

Retention periods may differ by information type. Transaction records may need to be retained for legal or accounting purposes, while assessment-related information and customer documents may be retained for the period reasonably required to provide the service and address related enquiries.

Where information is no longer required and no lawful retention basis applies, AYE will take reasonable steps to delete it or otherwise dispose of it securely.

9. Data security

AYE takes reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should protect their devices and email accounts and avoid sharing confidential access credentials.

If a customer suspects unauthorised access to information relating to an AYE service, they should contact AYE promptly.

10. Customer requests and rights

Subject to applicable law, customers may contact AYE to request access to information associated with their service, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where legally permissible or assistance with other privacy-related requests.

Customers may also raise concerns about the collection, use or sharing of their information.

AYE may need to verify the identity and authority of the person making a request, particularly where a request concerns a minor's information or assessment report.

Some records may need to be retained to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or maintain transaction records. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

11. Communications

AYE may send service-related communications necessary to confirm bookings, deliver purchased services, provide assessment instructions, communicate revisions or address customer enquiries.

Where promotional communications are sent, customers may opt out using the mechanism provided or by contacting AYE. Opting out of promotional communications will not prevent essential communications relating to an existing purchase or booking.

12. External links

The AYE website may contain links to third-party websites or platforms. AYE is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites that it does not control. Customers should review the applicable privacy policy before submitting information to those services.

13. Changes to this policy

AYE may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in its services, website configuration or legal obligations. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
